Adventureland Glows with the Flow During All-New Neon Nights

The Home of Iowa’s Best Thrills Will Be Electric For 12 Nights Next Summer Season 

ALTOONA, Iowa (November 18, 2025) – When the sun goes down, Adventureland will bring out the fun this summer season as the park debuts its newest event, Neon Nights. The all-new electric event under the stars will transform Adventure Bay water park into a full glow experience for 12 nights next July and August. 

Running Fridays and Saturdays from July 10 through August 15, Neon Nights will feature unique glow lighting, music, and everyone’s favorite Adventure Bay attractions to offer a unique setting to enjoy the water park each night until 10 p.m. Guests are invited to follow the lights and sounds throughout Iowa’s Largest Water Park where the action pulses in full vivid color. Music will pump up the energy up while families zip down some of their favorite slides in the dark. The nighttime event will also feature a variety of specialty food and beverage offerings that turn the fun up to 10.

Combine that with guest favorites, thrilling attractions, and exciting new experiences, and 2026 is set to shine brighter than ever.” 

The all-new Neon Nights event debuts on the heels of the park’s newest addition in 2025, Hyperlight. Last summer, the Adventure Bay water slide was recharged and ready to rock with iSlide technology. The all-new experience included out of this world color changing lights, lasers, and dynamic surround sound that transformed the water slide into a full sensory experience. 

Visitors can expect the Adventureland gates to swing back open in May with everyone’s favorite rides and attractions returning for a full season of thrills including the Tornado, Monster, Flying Viking, and more. Fan-favorite events like Oktoberfest and Iowa’s Largest Halloween Event, Phantom Fall Fest, will also be back for the 2026 season.
