Louisville, KY.— April 27, 2023— Kentucky Kingdom, Louisville’s daycation destination, opens the 2023 season on Saturday, May 13 with high-flying entertainment featuring magic, music and extreme athletic tricks along with the park’s first ever fireworks show, Summer Blast! Guests will experience the park like never before with ample opportunities for endless memory making.
Guests will be able to soar, splash, and end their summer nights with a boom every Friday and Saturday evening July 7-29. The 15-minute fireworks show will illuminate the night sky, launching up to 350 feet over Louisville casting a vibrant glow that can be seen anywhere from the park! With more than 125 years of experience, the Rozzi Famous Fireworks Pyrotechnic Display will ensure guests have the best Summer Blast experience. And, to help guests pack in as many major memories as possible, Kentucky Kingdom is introducing extended park hours, open until 10:00 PM, every Friday and Saturday throughout July.

And, for some playful splashes or out of this world bouncing, guests can check out the WOW Water Circus or towering jumps performed by the Xpogo Team, and so much more! Need a laugh? Comedy Kingdom will offer family friendly humor to keep guests of all ages smiling for their entire visit. Guests can enjoy each of these shows at the conveniently located Kentucky Kingdom Amphitheater.
This season, the cinema will roll out the red carpet to help guests take a break from the sun with The Lego Movie in 4D. Or jam out to exciting musicians like Artie Harris, Conch Republic, Lunar Beach House, The Monarchs, or Will Wright at Kentucky Kingdom’s new Sound Waves Stage located at Hurricane Bay.
Throughout the season guests will be wowed by magicians that can be found roaming throughout Kentucky Kingdom from Louisville’s David Gerrard to David Cottrell to Jayden Gowen.
