Two Iconic Rides Make Grand Return to Story Land Theme Park in 2026

Where Fantasy Lives Continues Multi-Year Investment as it Adds More Rides, More Days, More Hours, & Builds off the Additions of Moo Lagoon & Happy Hauntings
Glen, NH (November 18, 2025) – Story Land, New Hampshire’s Best Theme Park for Kids, will bring back two of its most beloved rides during the 2026 season. Beginning next summer, visitors can expect to see the return of Turtle Twirl and Crazy Barn, as The Place Where Fantasy Lives continues an ongoing investment project to offer families more attractions, rides, and events during their Story Land visits.
Turtle Twirl originally debuted at Story Land in 1996 and was moved to make way for the 2024 debut of the park’s largest capital investment ever, Moo Lagoon. After careful consideration, the ride will make its grand return in 2026 along with Crazy Barn. Both attractions will offer fun for the whole family and are expected to be open throughout the summer and fall seasons.
“We’re excited to welcome Turtle Twirl and Crazy Barn back for the 2026 season,” said General Manager Chris Kearsing. “Bringing back these iconic attractions, and expanding our operating calendar, reflect our dedication to offering fresh experiences while honoring the timeless traditions families love.”
The reopening of both attractions proves Story Land’s commitment to its visitors, while also adding new experiences for park-goers to enjoy. In 2024, the park opened the all-new Moo Lagoon water play area, offering families a place to cool off during the summer months. The farm-themed zero-depth water play area features more than 50 interactive spray elements, five pint-sized water slides, and three 28-foot-tall body water slides. 2024 also brought the debut of the park’s newest event, Happy Hauntings, New Hampshire’s Best New Way to Halloween, offering Halloween-themed shows, trick or treating, the park’s most popular rides and attractions, and more.
2026 will also mark the park’s longest season ever, with more days added to the calendar and the extension of operating hours until 6 p.m. throughout the summer season. Next season will also feature a full lineup of events and entertainment, including the return of the popular Nostalgia Nights, Neighbor Days, and Happy Hauntings event series, offering themed entertainment fit for all ages.
To celebrate the 2026 debut of Turtle Twirl and Crazy Barn, Story Land is now offering up to $50 off 2026 Season Passes during the park’s Black Friday Sale. Select Season Passes include free friend tickets, free parking, discounts on food and retail, and more.
